Zone 5 Commendation Ribbon

Awarded by the Zone 5 Coordinator for service to Zone 5 above and above the call of duty, which warrants more recognition then a certificate or Zone 5 Commendation Ribbon.  The Zone 5 Coordinator, at his discretion, may award up to three ribbons per quarter, and will be based upon recommendations from the Commanding Officers of the Cells in Zone 5 for their membership.  The Zone 5 Coordinator may at their discretion, award up to an additional two ribbons to members of Zone 5 whom he feels deserving without any recommendation. Maximum of 5 ribbons per quarter may be awarded.

Zone 5 Achievement Ribbon

Awarded by the Zone 5 Coordinator for service to Zone 5 and to the recipients cell, for service above the beyond the call of duty, which warrants more recognition then a certificate or Chapter award.  The Zone 5 Coordinator may award up to six ribbons per quarter, and will be based upon recommendations from the Commanding Officers of the Cells in Zone 5 for their membership.  The Zone 5 Coordinator at their discretion, award up to an additional three ribbons to members of Zone 5 whom he feels deserving without any recommendation. Maximum of nine ribbons per quarter may be awarded.

Zone 5 Navy Commendation Ribbon

Awarded by the Zone 5 Coordinator to members of the Zone serving in the Naval Branch of a Cell.  This ribbon will be awarded based upon the recommendation of the Commanding Officer of any Zone 5 Chapter; however, no more than five per cell may be issued in any quarter.  The Zone 5 Coordinator may issue up to three of these ribbons to members of Zone 5 per quarter without a Commanding Officer’s recommendation.  Maximum of five ribbons per cell, plus three at the Zone Five Coordinator’s discretion, per quarter.

Zone 5 Navy Achievement Ribbon

Awarded by the Zone 5 Coordinator to members of the Zone serving in the Naval Branch of a Cell.  This ribbon will be awarded based upon the recommendation of the Commanding Officer of any Zone 5 Chapter; however, no more than ten per cell may be issued in any quarter.  The Zone 5 Coordinator may issue up to five of these ribbons to members of Zone 5 per quarter without a Commanding Office’s recommendation.  Maximum of ten ribbons per cell, plus five at the Zone Five Coordinator’s discretion, per quarter.

Same guidelines as the Zone 5 Navy Commendation Ribbon, except that the Zone 5 Coordinator awards this ribbon to members of the Zone serving in the Marine Branch of a Cell.  Maximum of five ribbons per cell, plus three at the Zone Five Coordinator’s discretion, per quarter.

Same guidelines as the Zone 5 Navy Commendation Ribbon, except that the Zone 5 Coordinator awards this ribbon to members of the Zone serving in the Klingon Task Force Branch of a Cell.  Maximum of five ribbons per cell, plus three at the Zone Five Coordinator’s discretion, per quarter.

Quarters:

 January 1^st thru March 31^st: First Quarter
April 1^st thru June 30^th: Second Quarter
July 1^st thru September 30^th: Third Quarter
October 1^st thru December 31^st: Fourth Quarter

Quarterly Awards:

 Recipients of First Quarter Awards will be announced at the beginning of the Second Quarter, Second Quarter Awards will be announced at the beginning of the Third Quarter, Third Quarter Awards will be announced at the beginning of the Fourth Quarter and Fourth Quarter Awards will be announced at the beginning of the First Quarter of the following year.

Year End Awards:

 The Zone Five Coordinator will accept nominations for the Zone 5 Rebel of the Year and Zone 5 Volunteer of the Year beginning on September 1^st and will close the nomination process on November 15^th, annually.

Nominations for quarterly awards will begin upon receipt of this information…. for Third Quarter Awards.
